Trust Tairāwhiti invites all beneficiaries of the Trust to attend our 2025 Annual General Meeting. At this meeting, the Trust will report on our activities over the past financial year and our 2024/25 Statement of Intent.
A general definition of a Trust Tairāwhiti beneficiary is anyone who lives within the district, and any person or organisation that does business in the district that has either:
- enrolled to vote in local elections,
- a district ratepayer,
- pays a power bill connected to the district lines company.
Beneficiaries are formally defined in paragraph 1.3 of Trust Tairāwhiti Trust Deed

Proposed Motion: Trust Tairāwhiti Consolidated Financial Statements and Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2025 be received and noted. - Appointment of Auditor
Proposed Motion: In the interest of efficiency and cost-effectiveness, Beneficiaries reappoint Deloitte as auditor for Trust Tairāwhiti for the period from the conclusion of this Annual Meeting until the conclusion of the next Annual Meeting. - Auditor Fee
Proposed Motion: The remuneration of the Auditor of Trust Tairāwhiti for the period from the conclusion of this Annual Meeting until the conclusion of the next Annual Meeting be fixed by trustees. - 2025/2026 Statement of Intent
Proposed Motion: That the Statement of Intent for the 2025/2026 year be received and noted.
