Trust Tairāwhiti is the regional development trust for Tairāwhiti – formerly known as ECT (Eastland Community Trust). The Trust was created in 1993 to assist in the development of a more positive, prosperous, and attractive community.
In 2015, Activate Tairāwhiti was launched to lead local economic development and help Tairāwhiti businesses create more employment opportunities for our people.
